Introduction
Teaching is an expression of learning at its highest degree. As an educator, I am in a continual process of learning and reflection in order to serve my students in the best way possible. The following portfolio is a reflection of the hard work, learning, and growth that I have undergone as a student of Johns Hopkins University's Graduate School of Education. However, this work is not based solely on pedagogy, but rather on the way that my coursework and professional development have influenced my teaching. My portfolio is an analysis of student growth in a variety of different instructional contexts.

The work in Student Growth demonstrates some foundational tenants of my teaching practice from the perspective of student achievement and the ways I respond to student needs. My portfolio focuses on my competency with instructional practices that empower students in and out of the classroom, as well as how I promote academic growth.
